The work you have done on the application as well as pulling together funders is really appreciated.

Funding Applications
piggy-bank-1595992_640Citrus has continued to secure Big Lottery funding for small charities and organisations, as these testimonials show…

Karon’s support was invaluable, helping SPEAR secure Lottery funding for the first time in 2017 and continuation funding again in 2019. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. – Liz Griffiths, Head of Trust Fundraising, Spear.

Thank you for all you’ve done for us over many years. Your success in securing the Big Lottery  and Lloyds Foundation funding was particularly important for SHARP – it helped us to be able to provide the level of service which we know Leicester needs. We are very grateful for all your advice and guidance. Frazer Robson, Chair, Shelter Housing Aid and Research Project

Training
Citrus was very pleased to have delivered a one-day training course in Edinburgh for Inspiring Scotland on grant and trust fundraising as part of their ongoing development programme.

I got a huge amount of benefit from the session with Karon. It was great to pick her brain – lots of insight, clear advice and new things to think abaout. Karon is friendly, focussed, straight-talking; and clearly knows what she is talking about. Jamie Leitch, Business Development Manager, The Green Team.

I can highly recommend Karon. She delivered an excellent ‘Introduction to Grant Fundraising’ workshop, which was part of a senior management and leadership development course . One of the best courses we have delivered as part of our ProfessionalDevelopment Programme for VCS organisations. – Colin McNab – Formerly Marketing Director/ Client Services Director Inspiring Scotland

On a similar vein, in 2020 Citrus delivered a presentation on grant fundraising at the Diocese of Oxford’s “Generous Giving Conference”. Organiser Julie Jones said, “Karon’s presentation was well received by those who attended. The content was presented in an interesting way, and the information was accurate and useful. Karon herself was a pleasure to work with – and demonstrated great commitment to understanding the challenges facing her audience. I’d have no hesitation in recommending her services to other clients.”

Organisational Support
As well as fundraising, Citrus also helps charities with things such as monitoring and evaluation, organisational reviews, and community consultations. However, Citrus recently completed a long term project overseeing the closure of a charity and the TUPE transfer of its staff over to another organisation.
